Power Solutions Provider Acquires NetBotz for $31 Million

WEST KINGSTON, R.I.

American Power Conversion (APC), a global provider of high availability systems for network-critical physical infrastructure, has acquired IP-based video monitoring solutions provider NetBotz Inc. for $31 million.

APC said in a press release that NetBotz will add new software management capabilities, video surveillance and an array of environmental sensors to APC’s InfraStruXure product.

Investment bank USBX was an advisor on the transaction.
