The PS-24-8MC by Cooper Wheelock of Long Branch, N.J., a provider of fire and life-safety equipment, is a new POWERPAT 8A power supply charger. The new power supply is UL Listed under UL 864, 9th Edition and can be used with any 24VDC-listed regulated notification appliance.
The new POWERPATH power supply comes with a full 8A at 24VDC. The output is filtered, regulated and supervised. The PS-24-8MC is also capable of handling four class-B or two class-A output circuits with a 3A rating. The unit will accommodate both continuous and temporal-coded outputs and will connect to any 12VDC or 24VDC fire alarm panel using the internal notification appliance circuits (NACs). The unit will also accommodate dry contacts and addressable modules.
