ROME — President George W. Bush and his staff got a close look at some of Dedicated Micros Inc.’s digital video multiplexer recorders (DVMR) while the Chief Executive was given a tour of the security capabilities at key Italian government sites in Rome.
The systems tour took place when Bush visited Rome on June 4. Bush and his entourage, which included Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Adviser Condolezza Rice, were shown the systems that included at their heart Dedicated Micros equipment that enhanced their network capabilities.
“President Bush was very interested in seeing the installations,” said Sergio Bellano, marketing director of Dedicated Micros’ Italian distributor, Honeywell Security Italy. “We are protecting a number of critical government buildings using Dedicated Micros’ Digital Sprite 2 DVMRs.”
