DRAPER, Utah — Cloud-based access control solutions provider ProdataKey (PDK) recently announced the release of its first wireless locking solution: the Red Wireless Locksets.

These devices “join the extensive list of PDK’s hardware offerings, including award-winning door controllers, readers, head-end units and more,” according to the company announcement.

The Red Wireless Locksets “were designed in order to simplify the securing of doors that are typically difficult or expensive to reach,” the announcement says. Available in the form of a cylindrical lock and a deadbolt, with options for customization when ordering via distribution, the Red Locksets “provide an unmatched flexibility for PDK partners when designing systems.”

Wireless communication occurs through the Red Hub and PDK’s proprietary HubNet communication protocol, allowing for “fast and secure communication between the locks and PDK.io, the company’s access control management platform,” according to the company announcement.

“The Red Wireless Locksets will completely transform what our partners can achieve when installing PDK,” says Dallan Labrum, ProdataKey’s executive vice president of sales, in the company announcement. “With these locks, partners can install in areas where they couldn’t before. But that’s not all; they’re easy to install, easy to configure and they deliver the same reliable performance that all PDK hardware is known for.”
