AUSTIN, Texas — Zero Trust physical security and unified access, intrusion and video platform provider Prometheus Security Group Global (PSG) has opened its new global headquarters and engineering facility, according to a company announcement.

The 30,000-square-foot site in the Bergstrom Tech Center (Building 312, Suite 100, 6800 Burleson Road) “expands PSG’s engineering, testing and operational capacity to meet surging demand across federal, critical infrastructure and commercial markets,” the announcement says.

The new Prometheus Security Group Global headquarters “features three advanced laboratories for R&D, system validation and deployment of next-generation physical security technologies,” according to the company announcement. Two labs are customer-owned, enabling “joint innovation with strategic partners.”

Why is Prometheus Security Opening a New Headquarters?

“This facility gives us the scale and infrastructure to meet customer needs as Zero Trust security extends to the physical edge,” says Carrie Bartz, director of operations for Prometheus Security Group Global, in the company announcement. “We can now design, validate and deliver solutions faster and more effectively.”
“Austin’s technology talent and innovation ecosystem make it the ideal foundation for PSG’s next stage of growth,” says Rick Gross, co-founder and CEO, in the company announcement. “This expansion underscores our commitment to securing the nation’s most critical assets and modernizing how physical security integrates with digital infrastructure.”
