PROMISE Technology’s Vess A2000 NVR Validated With Genetec Security Center
MILPITAS, Calif. – PROMISE Technology, a developer of high-performance storage solutions optimized for video surveillance, announced its Vess A2000 Series NVR storage appliance is validated with Security Center, the unified security platform from Genetec.
Security Center seamlessly blends Omnicast video management systems (VMS), Synergis access control, and AutoVu license plate recognition (LPR) systems, presenting physical security information to end users through a single intuitive interface designed to standardize workflows for greater efficiency, faster response time and an overall higher level of security. PROMISE Technology’s validation of the Vess A2000 Series for Security Center ensures the solution has been tested to deliver scalability, flexibility, value and quality to meet the security needs of small- to medium-sized and enterprise-class businesses.
Vess A2000 NVR storage appliances for IP video surveillance reduce the complexity and costs of surveillance deployments while delivering powerful, reliable, efficient and optimized storage designed to support growing security requirements, according to the company. The NVR offers a validated integration with Security Center, with the objective of streamlining installation and configuration that helps simplify surveillance deployments and lower the total cost of ownership. Additionally, PROMISE says the solution delivers optimized performance for many workloads which enables the Vess recording server to maintain stability and provide consistent throughput without dropping frames.
