Protection One to Expand Its Commercial and National Accounts Operations

LAWRENCE, Kan.

Monitoring services provider Protection One announces the expansion of its commercial and national accounts monitoring operations. The plan calls for a larger and more modern facility in Irving, Texas.

“We have built an impressive center that is dedicated to the needs of our national account, commercial and multifamily clients,” said Richard Ginsburg, Protection One’s president and CEO. “Our expanded center incorporates the product offerings and capabilities our customers are looking for in a security provider, and showcases our commitment to the type of service that sets us apart from our competition.”

Protection One intends to offer remote access control management services, national account service coordination, secure access to account information, coordination between Protection One operatives at more than 60 offices across the country and more.

“We continuously work with our technology partners to develop new solutions for central station-based access control and CCTV solutions,” Ginsburg added. “Our goal is to meet the increasing demand for security providers to enhance and improve these types of services, and to address specific and varying customer needs. Additionally, our unique disaster recovery center, redundant network and ability to seamlessly serve customers from several locations in the case of natural disasters or other events, has become increasingly important to our clients. Our Irving facility is an important part of this network and a solid base for future expansion of our operations.”

Protection One is one of the largest providers of security monitoring services in the United States. The firm also provides a variety of equipment and installation options, including fire and intrusion systems, access control, CCTV, emergency medical, panic buttons and more.
