Provident Security & Event Management Corp. announces its selection as the “11th Best Place to Work in British Columbia” by BC Business Magazine.
The award marks the second year running the full service security firm has been recognized as a Top 25 employer. In 2006, Provident ranked 24th and was the only security company to make it into the magazine’s annual list.
“We set a goal back in 2004 of being recognized as a Top 10 employer in B.C. by 2008,” says Provident President Michael Jagger. “To be recognized as No. 11 in 2007 is very exciting and is a testament to the tremendous effort that our team has put into making Provident the best possible workplace for our team members.”
The rankings were determined by an anonymous survey of employees conducted by Calibre Leadership Systems. The awards are open to all British Columbia businesses with more than 35 full-time employees.
Companies are ranked based on information provided by both management and employees regarding management practices and work environment.
