WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Global professional systems integrators consortium PSA Network (PSA) today announces it has joined the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) as an exclusive member, reinforcing “its commitment to developing and promoting career pathways in the security industry.”
FAST, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by the Security Industry Association (SIA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA), “connects talent with opportunities in security technology and life safety, advocating for workforce growth and development,” the announcement says

Through this collaboration, FAST members will work together to expand professional development programs, strengthen industry visibility and provide resources to attract, educate and retain top talent in security. PSA has previously contributed through its collaboration with SIA on the release of “Secure Your Future: Security Industry Careers Guide.”
This resource “helps to address critical skills shortages in the security sector by providing students, career-changers and industry entrants with in-depth insight into the mission and scope of the security profession,” according to the joint announcement.
“SIA, ESA and PSA all firmly believe that FAST is the platform through which we can make measurable and meaningful progress toward addressing the number one challenge facing the industry: finding qualified talent,” says Don Erickson, CEO of SIA, in the joint announcement.
