PSA Security Network® will be hosting its 2009 PSA-TEC May 4-8 in St. Charles, Ill., to deliver in-depth business acumen, physical security and IT courses. More than 100 suppliers will also showcase and demonstrate the newest technologies for the evolving security marketplace.

The PSA Security Network is marking the second year that the event’s exhibit hall and training sessions will be open to all electronic security professionals, not simply members of the more than 200-strong cooperative. In all, more than 400 course hours will be held during the conference of which SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION (Booth No. 501) serves as the official Elite Media Sponsor.

The conference offers position-specific training coursework and in-depth certifications and gives attendees the opportunity to meet with end users, representatives from the educational and healthcare vertical markets, law enforcement personnel, physical security and IT integrators, members of the media, and top-tier suppliers.

The opening mixer on May 5 will feature a keynote address by Frank Abagnale discussing his extensive knowledge on identity theft. Abagnale, an infamous former fraudster during his teens, was the inspiration for the movie Catch Me If You Can.

Attendees can explore the latest in security and IT network technology during the all-day exhibits on May 6 and visit the sponsor-hosted hospitality suites in the evening to network with conference attendees in a relaxed atmosphere.

The final day of the conference will again offer a surplus of training opportunities, plus networking at evening mixers.
