ST. LOUIS – Fire, life safety and security industry-focused buy-and-build platform RapidFire Safety & Security today announces the acquisition of El Paso, Texas-based Advanced Security Contractors, Inc.
The acquisition, RapidFire’s third in Texas, “expands RapidFire’s Texas security and fire alarm service area to now include west Texas and serves as a foundation for expanding service offerings for ASC’s customers in the future,” according to the joint announcement.
Why RapidFire Wanted Advanced Security
Advanced Security Contractors was founded in 1998 as a fire protection and security contractor by Virginia and Michael Robinson and Thomas Silva. The company sells, installs, services and monitors access control, video surveillance, fire and intrusion systems. It has grown “from a small local family business to a thriving entity with talented IT, design, service and installation teams,” according to the joint announcement.
All Advanced Security Contractors employees “remain dedicated to delivering the exceptional service customers have come to know and trust, while also contributing to RapidFire’s expansion in Texas and New Mexico,” the announcement says.
“After 26 years, we had grown ASC to a point where it was too large for us to manage at this stage of our careers,” says Virginia Robinson, owner of Advanced Security Contractors. “Mike McLeod shared our vision for ASC’s future while ensuring the same level of care for our team.”
“The ASC team brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of success to RapidFire,” says Mike McLeod, RapidFire’s CEO, in the joint announcement. “We are excited to expand our presence in the El Paso market with a well-established leader that’s known for delivering an advanced technical team of experts and commitment to customer satisfaction.”
“ASC is a valuable addition to RapidFire’s growing portfolio,” says Adam Lucas of Concentric Equity Partners, in the announcement. “Their strong presence in the government sector and their commitment to excellence align perfectly with RapidFire’s strategic goals. This acquisition will further solidify RapidFire’s position as a leading provider of fire and security solutions in Texas and New Mexico.”
