RapidFire Safety & Security Acquires National Security Electronics

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Fire, life safety and security industry-focused buy-and-build platform RapidFire Safety & Security today announces the acquisition of National Security Electronics, a full-service security systems integrator based in Santa Ana, Calif.

The acquisition of National Security Electronics is number 14 for RapidFire and their fifth in southern California, according to the joint announcement.

The move “underscores RapidFire’s commitment to expanding its footprint and service offerings to better serve communities across the region, cementing them as a world-class curator of people-centric, family-built businesses in the fire safety and security sector,” the announcement says.

Why RapidFire Acquired National Security Electronics

National Security Electronics has been a full-service security partner since 2014 with more than 100 years of combined industry experience. NSE “has a reputation for delivering innovative security solutions while maintaining the highest standards of customer service,” according to the joint announcement.

All National Security Electronics employees will remain with the company post-close, the announcement says.

Founder Andrew Koller operated the business with the philosophy that “our business relationships are built on the foundation of our solid reputation,” according to the announcement.

“I was struggling to run and grow the business at the same time, with Rapid they are going to invest and grow the company in ways I could not,” he says in the announcement. “RapidFire shares the same values and goals on how to grow the business while understanding that the employees are what makes our company successful.”

National Security Electronics provides video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarms, visitor management and monitoring solutions, complementing other RapidFire branches in the region.

NSE serves a diverse customer base across commercial industries, including financial institutions and healthcare facilities.
