ST. LOUIS – Fire, life safety and security industry-focused buy-and-build platform RapidFire Safety & Security continued its acquisition frenzy by adding San Dimas, Calif.-based Tri-Xecutex Corp. (Tri-X).
Tri-Xecutex, which is RapidFire’s 10th acquisition in California, “enhances RapidFire’s security offerings and significantly strengthens its footprint across southern California,” according to the joint announcement.
Founded in 1988, Tri-Xecutex began as a telephone, sound, security and alarm installation business. In the last 37 years, Tri-X has grown into a full-service low voltage systems integrator serving greater Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties, offering a full-suite of security and fire alarm services.
Tri-Xecutex is a fire alarm contractor, conducting installations and NFPA-compliant testing.
Why RapidFire Acquired Tri-Xecutex
Embracing modern technology and always reaching toward more advanced electronic applications, Tri-X offers expert installation and maintenance support for security, fire alarm and network connectivity projects within a variety of commercial and industrial environments including school districts, hospitals and medical clinics.
Tri-Xecutex’s experienced team will continue to deliver the same high-quality, technology-driven solutions to their clients—now supported by RapidFire’s broader capabilities and geographical presence.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Tri-X team to the RapidFire family,” says Brian Modglin, chief operating officer of RapidFire Safety & Security, in the joint announcement. “Their deep expertise in fire alarm and low-voltage systems, combined with a longstanding reputation for outstanding client relationships, complements our vision of delivering comprehensive life safety solutions.
“This acquisition strengthens our ability to serve Southern California with unparalleled technical proficiency and customer-focused service,” he says.
“The Tri-X organization is a great fit to our established fire alarm and low-voltage business in the Southern California market,” says John De Sousa, RapidFire western regional manager, in the joint announcement.
“With the addition of Tri-X’s portfolio of services, we continue our rapid growth trajectory in our region and further expand our presence throughout the southern California marketplace,” he says. “Our commitment to partnering with businesses like Tri-X expands our services and aligns with our people-centric, family-built strategy.”
“We are thrilled to announce that Tri-XCorp is joining forces with Rapid Fire. This represents an exciting new chapter for our company, our employees and, most importantly, our customers,” says Ron Podojil and Jana Ferrari, president and chief financial officer of Tri-Xecutex, in the joint announcement.
“RapidFire brings with them cutting-edge technology and a highly skilled workforce that perfectly complements our own capabilities,” they say. “Together, we will be able to offer our customers a wider range of products, faster service, and expanded solutions to meet all their fire protection, security and related service needs.”
