Red Hawk Industries Acquires Network Security Provider

Published: January 10, 2006

In its second acquisition within a month, commercial security integrator Red Hawk Industries has acquired data security company National Network Services. The acquisition will now allow Red Hawk to help its customers with their data network security needs.

Red Hawk provides security systems services to financial institutions, jewelry and grocery stores and other businesses. The company installs and maintains ATMs, safes and vaults, drive-up equipment, CCTV systems, and other security equipment.

“Technology is playing and increasing role in security,” Greg Johnson, president and COO of Red Hawk, says. “The security industry has gone from physical security and local access-control and monitoring to sophisticated wide area network monitoring and access-control systems. Data safety is a natural extension of our services.”

In late December, Red Hawk acquired Massachusetts-based integrator New England Security Inc.
