The final answer for who will keynote the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) 2005 expo is Regis Philbin. The “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and “Live With Regis and Kelly” host will give a keynote “performance” to start off the June 6 to 10 World Safety Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas.

According to the NFPA, Philbin will present a session of commentary and also bring musical notes to the keynote session with a rendition of popular songs on June 6.

The NFPA is broadening the scope of its annual conference this year by adding security and electrical exhibits. This year’s expo will be at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center.

William Grosshandler of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will be the highlight technical speaker at the expo, speaking on NIST findings from its investigation into the Sept. 11, 2001 World Trade Center fires and structural collapses.
