The research found 48% of smart home owners open and close their garage door through an app on their phone.
Research conducted by Parks Associates finds the connected garage door opener to be the most active and frequently used smart home device today.
The research found 48% of smart home owners access their smart garage door daily through an app on their phone, followed by smart door locks (44%), network security cameras (42%) and smart thermostats (33%).
