S2 Security Corp. and EasyLobby Inc. of Needham, Mass.,
have partnered to provide integrated access control with
visitor management capabilities. The combination makes
available EasyLobby’s Secure Visitor Management system
along with S2’s Netbox, which is an IP-based physical
access security platform.

“This is what I find really exciting about our open systems strategy,” said John Moss, CEO of S2 Security. “Because the S2 NetBox is an open platform, EasyLobby was able to connect their best-of-breed product with ours by using our open, Web services API. They were able to do this quickly and easily, and have produced a valuable solution that our customers have been asking for.”

A combination of EasyLobby’s visitor management solution and S2 Security’s access platform allows clients to grant access to authorized visitors and employees as needed. They can also track visitors throughout their facility and determine the duration of access authorization, rendering cards inoperable according to schedule as needed.

The EasyLobby SVM system supports reception desk security and prints quality visitor badges. Information is captured in the system by scanning a visitor’s authorized ID. The S2 Security Netbox is a Web-based system that offers access control, alarm monitoring, video management, and more.
