Halloween is a fun time for families to hit the streets and watch as their kids parade around the neighborhood in their costumes.
But Halloween doesn’t come without its safety risks for people and their property.
The courteous act of slowing down on neighborhood roads will not only make Halloween more enjoyable for everyone, but it could also save lives. The AAA Hoosier Motor Club posted the following safety tips to help keep children and adults out of harm’s way around the neighborhood.
- Prepare for pranksters
- Look out for black cats, blind spots and Batman
- Light up the night
- Follow safe pumpkin protocol
- Beware the brew
