SAFLINK, SSP-Litronic Completes Merger

BELLEVUE, Wash.

Stockholders have approved the merger of SAFLINK CORP. and

the merger gives
SSP-Litronic 0.6 shares of SAFLINK common stock for each
share of SSP-Litronic common stock they hold.

Now an official subsidiary of SAFLINK, SSP-Litronic common
stock shares stopped trading the NASDAQ National Market.

Under the merger, the companies hope to provide government
agencies and commercial organizations with a scalable,
reliable and secure structure for identity management.

“We are thrilled by this significant event in our company’s
history, and extremely excited by the new prospects and
opportunities that we believe this merger presents,”
SAFLINK President and CEO Glenn Argenbright said in a
statement.

Sperry West, Burtek Announce Distribution Agreement
SAN DIEGO
Sperry West and Burtek have teamed up to create a new
distribution and sales partnership. Under the deal, Burtek,
a Canadian distributor of low-voltage security products,
has nonexclusive distribution rights to distribute, promote
and sell Sperry West’s entire line of Spyder Covert video
cameras throughout Canada.

Various video cameras, including wireless varieties, of the
line are already available at Burtek locations.

“We’re very pleased to add Burtek to our growing network of
distributors,” Sperry West CEO Barry Levine said in a
statement. “Sperry West has earned an excellent reputation
in the United States as the long-standing leader in covert
video and surveillance products and now we’re bringing that
continuous quality to Canadian security professionals.”
