Salto Systems of Atlanta releases the Sallis wireless locking devices. The Sallis wireless technology offers wireless online locks on any door including panic bars, glass door locks and electronic cylinders, according to the company.
The devices communicate wirelessly with many access control controllers and permit the use of existing smartcard credentials. The ergonomic architecture of the system enables the connection of several devices to a power over Ethernet (PoE) router, which can manage several wireless communicating locks.
Because Sallis integration is bi-directional, system operators can perform remote openings and emergency lockdowns while receiving real time audit trail, door left open and intrusion alarms.
