Samsung Techwin Names New U.S. Partner for CCTV Products
NEW YORK
Samsung Techwin has appointed a new U.S. partner to conduct its business in North America, as well as other Western Hemisphere countries. Previously managed by Samsung Opto-electronics of Secaucus, N.J., Advanced Digital Security Solutions (ADSS) of New York has been appointed as Techwin’s new partner and has formed a new company called Samsung360°.
Samsung360° will conduct Samsung Techwin’s CCTV business in North, Central and South America, partnering on marketing and distribution. Samsung360° will be headquartered in New York and run a large distribution facility in Denver.
Samsung360° sells a different Samsung CCTV product than that sold by GVI Security Solutions Inc. of Carrollton, Texas.
Ayman Ashour, founder and CEO of ADSS, has retained much of the staff from Samsung-Opto-electronics. Opto’s national sales manager, Frank Polidoro, has been named vice president of Samsung360° and will oversee its daily operations.
