SAN FRANCISCO – Samsung SDS, the global IT services company part of Samsung Group, has become a regional partner with Darktrace, a provider of enterprise cyber-threat defense software.
The partnership agreement follows the company’s recent investment in Darktrace. In addition to being a reseller and distributor of Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System technology, the two companies will work together to develop cybersecurity solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including connected devices, according to a news release.
Darktrace uses advanced mathematics and has adopted a machine learning approach to identify new, emerging threats within computer networks in real time including insider attacks, ransomware, machine-based attacks and unknown threat scenarios, according to the company.

With more than 1,200 customer deployments, Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System has been selected by some of the largest and most sensitive cybersecurity environments, including global financial institutions, telecommunications networks, legal firms and more.
