San Diego Stadium Gets Equipped With Digital Video Security in Time for Super Bowl XXXVII

SAN DIEGO

San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium, where Super Bowl XXXVII will take place, is in the process of being outfitted with a digital video recording system that will be used for crowd control and other general security purposes.

San Diego-based Electro Specialty Systems and cVideo Inc., a developer of networked, digital-video security applications, are working together on the project.

The system will record digital video from cameras located throughout the stadium for the stadium’s command center, where security officials will use the information for crowd control.
