Sankosha USA of Torrance, Calif., debuts the LAN SPD Series of network surge protectors. Each of the six protector models incorporates shielded RJ45 jacks for simple connect ability and provides reliable over voltage surge protection in various Ethernet applications, according to the company.
The protectors can be installed in new and existing IP security camera systems. They provide application-specific, packaged protection with safety agency compliance including IEC 61643-21, UL-497B, IEEE 802.3af (for GigE PoE applications) and IEEE 802.3at (for GigE PoE+ applications).
