Sanyo introduced its new network-capable p/t/z cameras, a hybrid DVR and an analog line of professional video surveillance products at ISC West.

Leading the array of video surveillance solutions for Sanyo is its Pan-Focus Series cameras, offering focus of every element in the frame at all times. IP-ready with the addition of an optional board, the cameras can be an integral part of a standalone or a networked system and provide a logical migratory solution to a network platform.

Sanyo has also enhanced its line of networked video surveillance solutions with the introduction of four new IP-ready p/t/z dome cameras. The VCC-9800xxxN, 9700xxxN, 9600xxxN and 9500xxxN offer motorized drives with high-speed panning at 435 degrees per second and high-speed tilting at 400 degrees per second to capture images at exact points between preset positions. Return to preset points is accurate to within .014 of a degree for precision captures of surveillance images. Optimum Auto Focus optimizes focus times and improves focus on a targeted subject, even when other elements pass through the frame. Images also remain in focus even with the lens in motion during pan/tilt operation.

Sanyo is also newly releasing its Video Pilot Network Management & Recording software, which gives users control of networked cameras and DVRs from a PC dashboard. Other featured products include Case Information Media Management (CIMM), an interview recording solution created for law enforcement but with application potential ranging across a number of industries including retail, education and research; plus a full complement of professional video surveillance cameras and DVRs.
