SARGENT of New Haven, Conn., an ASSA ABLOY Group company, announces that its Profile Series v.S2 and Passport Series WiFi-enabled locksets now integrate with the Reach Access Control System (ACS) from Reach Systems, a provider of IP-based access control solutions.
This integration enables campuses to incorporate v.S2 and Passport locksets into the Reach ACS. This allows the locksets to be remotely monitored and managed over the Internet, completely eliminating the need for an access panel.
The Profile Series v.S2 and Passport products integrate WiFi technology, a Prox reader (v.S2), mag-stripe card reader (Passport), optional keypad and monitoring capabilities at the door. Facilities can leverage their existing wireless network or simply build a network with standard off-the-shelf products.
