Sarnoff Corp. Wins Big at New Product Showcase
Sarnoff Corp. was the big winner at Wednesday’s New Product Showcase (NPS) hosted by Security Industry Association (SIA) at ISC West, earning the coveted “Best New Product” award.
The company won for its Iris on the Move iris recognition device, which can capture an iris image at a distance of as much as 10 feet, while an individual is in motion and allows a throughput of as many as 30 people per minute.
In all, 85products and services were entered in this year’s NPS. There were 16 categories presented during the ceremony in addition to the “Best New Product.”

Best in Fire/Life Safety: Xtralis VESDA VFT-15 by Xtralis
Best in Integrated Software, Products and Systems: Virtual Video Recorder from IPVision Software
Best in Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions: PoolSonix Solar Powered Wireless Pool Alarm System by S.R. Smith
Best in IP Devices, Products and Software: JKW-IP by Aiphone
Best in Public Safety Solutions: BreezeMAX Extreme 5000 by Alvarion
Best in Residential and Monitoring Solutions: AES-7094 IntelliPro by AES-IntelliNet
