ScanSource Security Distribution of Greenville, S.C., recently added Integrated Biometrics’ fingerprint access control products to its line card. ScanSource says this provides its resellers with another form of identity solutions, which they will, in turn, offer to its own customers.
Integrated Biometrics specializes in access control solutions that grant access privileges based on true biometric identity that use a unique input technology for finger-based biometric systems. Its patented Light Emitting Sensing (LES) technology is designed to overcome scanning problems often incurred when dealing with wet, slick fingers or those affected by nicotine.
