ScanSource Inc., a distributor of specialty technology products, will hold its inaugural Impact Now conference July 11 at the San Diego Convention Center.

The company says the event is designed to help resellers “rise above the challenges having a direct impact on their business.” To that end, there will be educational content from channel experts and vendor executives, along with an exposition of solution products and services, networking opportunities and a pavilion dedicated to technologies of the future.

During the conference, a series of “impact issues” will be addressed, including how to find and retain the best sales talent; how top companies retain customers; finding investment capital; beating Internet competition; mergers and acquisitions; and tools for selling technology.

ScanSource executives and its manufacturer partners will be on hand to discuss the state of their business and key selling strategies for the future. Also on tap, television’s “Deal or No Deal” host Howie Mandel is a special guest speaker.
