GREENVILLE, S.C. — ScanSource Inc. has promoted Timothy Ramsey to vice president of its worldwide reseller financial services (RFS). The ScanSource RFS team offers enhanced programs, tools and services to help resellers find the financial solutions that best fit their business needs.
Ramsey will expand his management role to include the oversight of the company’s financial services offering in all geographies, in addition to U.S. operations, which he has led since 2005 when he joined ScanSource. Ramsey will be responsible for planning, implementing and executing the company’s worldwide RFS strategy, as well as goal setting, receivable analysis and reporting oversight. He will also oversee personnel development and process improvement.
Prior to joining ScanSource, Ramsey spent more than a decade at Michelin North America in various financial leadership roles, including director of credit and business development, and worldwide purchasing.
