GREENVILLE, S.C. — ScanSource Inc. announces the appointment of Steven Owings to its board of directors. Owings, one of the original founders of ScanSource, will serve on the board as a non-employee director.
As a 28-year industry veteran, Owings brings extensive company and industry knowledge to the board. A former ScanSource CEO, he previously served as the board’s chairman until reducing his workload due to medical reasons. Owings retired from the company earlier this month.
