CARMEL, Ind.—The Allegion residential access control brand Schlage has announced the retail availability of its Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt product.
The latest deadbolt from the popular manufacturer was made available to the public on June 30, and Schlage says the lock is its first push-button keypad deadbolt equipped with built-in WiFi. Allegion asserts the Schlage Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt offers effortless code entry, seamlessly integrating with existing smart home platforms and technologies.
According to Allegion, the new Schlage deadbolt connects directly to the home WiFi network without the need for additional accessories to allow homeowners to remotely manage access through the latest update to the Schlage Home app. Within the app, Allegion and Schlage go on to point out that users can conveniently manage up to 250 access codes for keyless entry, view lock history and receive customized push notifications.
The global company emphasizes that once the Arrive Smart WiFi Deadbolt is paired with the Schlage Home app and the homeowner’s local home WiFi network, the lock can be setup to use Alexa and Google Home voice control capabilities to control the lock along with their favorite smart home devices.
Some of the retailers carrying the new Schlage lock include Lowes.
