Ingersoll Rand (IR) Security Technologies and RF IDeas Inc. are partnering to offer customers proximity and secure contactless smart card solutions for both at the door and desktop.
The pairing of technologies by Schlage, an IR product brand, and RF Ideas will provide customers with options to use their contactless credentials for more than just access control, according to the companies. RF IDeas products provide customers with hundreds of applications using their proximity and smart card USB, RS-232, Ethernet desktop and embedded readers.
