Swedish security systems provider Securitas Security
Systems is extending its reach in the U.S. by purchasing a
Kansas City-based security company. Securitas has acquired
Wornall Electronics Inc., which installs and services
security systems in the Kansas City and New Jersey
markets.
Securitas says Wornall has annual sales of $5 million with
an employee base of 27 employees. In an April 8 release
announcing the acquisition, Securitas also hints that
Wornall has the capacity to service metro New York City.
