WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Security 101 announces that 15 of its franchise offices will participate in the 6th Annual Gift of Security corporate giving program.
The Gift of Security is a national corporate charitable initiative that provides $10,000 worth of integrated security services from Security 101 and equipment from Axis Communications to one nonprofit winner at each participating office location.
Local civic leaders helped each office select three deserving organizations to receive a system, according to the announcement. Online voting to determine the winning group continues through Dec. 8. Gift of Security winners will be announced Dec. 11.
Individuals can vote for an organization by visiting the Gift of Security website. Participating Security 101 offices include:

- Charlotte, N.C.
- Columbus, Ohio
- Dallas
- Detroit
- Hampton Roads/Norfolk, Va.
- Jacksonville, Fla.
- New Jersey/New York
- Orlando, Fla.
- Phoenix
- Pittsburgh
- Raleigh, N.C.
- Richmond, Va.
- San Diego
- Salt Lake City
Since its inception in 2012, the program has grown yearly and benefited 14 nonprofit groups. Former winners have included children’s organizations, domestic abuse homes, homeless shelters and more.
“Team101 is proud to actively give back to the communities we do business in,” says Security 101 CEO Steve Crespo. “This year we have substantially increased the number of local offices participating and will be donating more than $150,000 in product and services.”
Security 101, which specializes in commercial security, was launched in 2007 to sell integrator franchise territories. With a stated goal of opening 101 offices, to date the company has established 37 franchises that operate nationwide.
