@SECURITY BROADBAND TO USE MAS SOFTWARE FOR ITS HOME PRODUCT
@Security Broadband Corp. has partnered with Monitoring Automation Systems (MAS) to customize MAS’ monitoring and business systems software with additional features to complement @Security’s residential security product. In addition to MAS’ software applications, @Security will use MAS’ consulting services and equipment to support and supplement its existing monitoring and business processes.
@Security’s alarm monitoring and the company’s billing and service management will be driven by the MAS MasterMind(tm) software application. Using client-server technology, MasterMind uses integrated databases which, when combined with @Security’s audio and video capability, will enable the company to provide fast and accurate alarm response, in addition to customer service features, according to both companies.
“MAS’ customized monitoring products will allow us to deliver the @Security residential security product to target markets much faster than if we worked to develop every aspect of the monitoring service ourselves,” says William Glasgow, @Security Broadband Corp. president and CEO.
In addition, @Security intends to use MAS’ MobileMind(tm) handheld computer system, which is designed to automate communication between field service technicians and a central processing center. The system will help @Security by reducing the time to complete a job and improving customer service by increasing the effectiveness of the service technicians.
MAS is a supplier of monitoring and business applications to providers of commercial and residential monitoring services. @Security Broadband develops security and communications systems.
