McLEAN, Va. – The Monitoring Association (TMA) and Commercial Integrator (CI)+Security Sales & Integration (SSI) today announce the winners of the 2026 TMA/CI+SSI Monitoring Technology Marvel Award, recognizing “outstanding innovation in monitoring and security operations technology.”
The awards were presented during a ceremony held May 12, with the honors presented by Dan Ferrisi, group director of content + editorial, industrial + tech, for Emerald.
Security Central received the 2026 Technology Marvel Award in the Traditional Monitoring Center category for its “forward-thinking use of technology to enhance monitoring operations, improve efficiency and deliver greater protection for customers,” according to the joint announcement.
Costco, meanwhile, received the inaugural Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Award, recognizing “excellence and innovation in global security operations centers,” the announcement says.
Who Does the TMA/CI+SSI Marvel Award Honor?
The TMA/CI+SSI Monitoring Technology Marvel Award “honors monitoring centers and their partners for the innovative implementation of cutting-edge technology that advances the monitoring industry and improves protection of life and property,” according to the joint announcement.
The award program, launched in 2018, is jointly sponsored by TMA and CI+SSI and coordinated by the TMA Technology Committee.
“Each year, the Monitoring Technology Marvel Award celebrates organizations that demonstrate how innovation can transform the monitoring and security landscape,” says Whitney A. Doll, CEO of The Monitoring Association, in the joint announcement. “Security Central and Costco exemplify the power of forward-thinking technology and operational excellence. Their achievements highlight how innovation across monitoring centers and GSOCs is driving the monitoring and security ecosystem into the future.”
The winners will be featured in the September/October 2026 issue of CI+SSI, highlighting “the technologies and strategies that distinguished their submissions and demonstrating how industry leaders are redefining modern monitoring operations,” according to the announcement.
