The former director of security and intelligence operations
for New York City’s Office of Emergency Management is
forming a new company focusing of security assessments for
Fortune 1000 companies with an eye on partnering with
security firms.
Sal Lifrieri, who managed New York’s security intelligence
and counter surveillance operations from January 1996 to
January 2001, has formed Protective Countermeasures and
Consulting (PCC) and will serve as its president and CEO.
Lifrieri, most recently executive vice president of
Diversified Security Solutions, says in a statement that
his new company is looking to partner with other security
companies on an outsourcing basis.
“Our niche specialty in threat and vulnerability
assessments as well as counter eavesdropping and
surveillance can be very valuable to other security firms,”
Lifrieri says. “Protective Countermeasures and Consulting
can help these companies expand their product offerings and
services without the investment in staffing and training.”
