WALNUTPORT, Pa. — Jill Frack and her husband Tyson are the only full-time employees on the Fracktional Solutions payroll, but that hasn’t stopped them from making a big commitment to giving back to their community in a variety of ways.
Jill Frack, the founder and special project consultant for the company that specializes in project management, data analytics, people analytics, information technology services, finance, human resource functions, training and development and safety, recently spent six days as an advisor for Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week.
Meanwhile, she and Tyson Frack, the chief technology for Fracktional Solutions, are both volunteer firefighters for the all-volunteer Leigh Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 in Cherryville, Pa., with Tyson boasting about 25 years with the department and Jill serving the department for about two years.
“I love to drive the big trucks and operate the equipment,” says Jill Frack, who is a member of the Security Industry Association (SIA) Environmental, Social and Government (ESG) advisory board that announced earlier this year that the first Friday of June will henceforth be known as Security Industry Community Service Day.
Why Fracktional Solutions Prioritizes Giving Back
Jill Frack is so committed to community service that she presented on the importance of giving back at ISC West in April. The idea of helping people who need it is nothing new to her though.
“I’ve always loved community service,” says Jill Frack. “I’ve been volunteering since a very young age, and it just feels good to give back to help other people in various ways. You don’t worry about your own problems because you’re helping somebody else address their issues or their needs.
“It feels good to be able to give back and give to others. I consider myself blessed that I’m able to have the time, and I’m able to assist with the different things that are needed in my community,” she says.
Jill Frack notes that, if a company that’s the size of Fracktional Solutions can find ways to commit to community service, there’s no excuse for any other companies in the security industry to do something.
“I would encourage people to think outside the box, because even your local police departments, fire stations, your animal shelters, they all just need people to help with some administrative work and an hour to them, they’re so grateful for that,” says Jill Frack. “You can give any bit of time to help.
“Even concession stands at your local little League parks or whatever. They’re always in need of workers, because parents can’t watch their kid play while they’re working in the stand. They appreciate others who are willing to help out so as they do anything you can, because even a half hour, an hour here or there makes a difference to help out,” she says.
