Security-Net Increases Southeast Presence With Newest Member
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Vision Security Technologies (VST), a regional security systems integrator based here, has joined Security-Net, a global provider of security integration services.
VST is expected to increase Security-Net’s geographical presence in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Founded in 2000 by president and CEO Barry Komisar, the company designs and installs CCTV, access control, intrusion and audio systems for health-care, universities, manufacturing, utilities, malls and office complexes, as well as city, state and federal government facilities.
Among high-profile installations performed by the company are Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama’s security management system, campus-wide projects at the University of Alabama and Auburn University, as well as a new video project for Vanderbilt University.
“As a respected integration firm in the Southeast, Vision’s wide ranging expertise in a variety of vertical markets and technical disciplines is a great addition to Security-Net,” says Tom Asp, president of Security-Net.
VST becomes the 18th member of Security-Net, which focuses on the integration of end-to-end security solutions for a wide array of market verticals. Individual member companies comprise the network’s regional locations and regularly share design solutions, troubleshooting tips, technology updates and marketing ideas to provide the most effective, up to date security management system for customers.
