Security solutions provider Security Networks LLC has acquired Pennsylvania residential alarm company Tri-State Alarm Co. in a recent public auction conducted by GE/SAFE Financial. Based in Broomall, Penn., Tri-State Alarm services more than 13,000 residential customers in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.
“Tri-State is a well respected and solid company with a good core of employees that provides outstanding service for their customers,” said Richard Perry, president and CEO of Security Networks. “The company simply needs an infusion of capital to grow and an owner who is in the position to grow the business.”
Security Networks plans to move all of Tri-State Alarms’ accounts to Marlin Central Monitoring, which it acquired in May.
Security Networks says almost all of Tri-State’s employees are being retained, including the existing management team. There will be no major changes outside of moving Tri-State’s accounts.
