NEW YORK – Electronic security professionals tried to get a little closer to the investors of Wall Street at the 8th Annual “Securing New Ground” in November at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.
The conference – presented jointly by Sandra Jones and Co., ProFinance Associates Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc. – highlighted the need to keep up the business community’s awareness of the alarm industry that was kindled after the 9/11 terror attacks. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak delivered the keynote address of the two-day conference, which brought together investors and industry leaders.
“The networking and ‘real’ stories from the trenches are what sets this conference apart from the many others,” says attendee André Conway, who is president and CEO of Alarm Service Co. of America Inc.
