Bobit Publishing Co. announces the appointment of Fred H. Jaegle as publisher of Security Sales Magazine. Jaegle brings with him an extensive and distinguished career in the publishing industry, including a 10-year tenure as publisher of Rental Equipment Register Magazine (RER). During his stewardship, he transformed RER into the most influential and profitable portfolio of publications in the construction equipment rental industry. Besides securing record advertising revenues, record profits, and an unparalleled subscriber base for the core RER publications, Jaegle also expanded RER’s operations into digital publishing and international markets. His efforts helped RER win several prestigious publishing awards, including the Jessie Neal Award Certificate and three Maggie Awards.
“Fred brings years of solid publishing experience to Security Sales and Bobit Publishing,” says Ty Bobit, president of Bobit Publishing. “Importantly, he is relationship-oriented and knows what it takes to be an industry leader.” Immediately prior to joining Security Sales, Jaegle served as senior vice president of content development for Arlobex Technologies/SmartEquip.com, a startup new media/technology company. Jaegle earned an undergraduate arts degree in Business Communications from California State University, Northridge (Calif.), and he received the American Business Press Publisher’s Certificate for studies at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
