We wrapped up the first half of our 2025 Security Solutions Awards announcements with System Surveyor, which was honored for its excellence in security apps. They joined Telguard, who earned the nod for fire and life safety, and Resideo, who home the honors in the home controls category.
As you are most certainly aware, the annual Security Solutions Awards program celebrates manufacturers and vendors whose electronic security solutions have been proven in the field to meet security, safety or other organizational needs for end users.
Now, let’s find out who won the 2025 Security Solutions Award for security monitoring.
Who Won the 2025 Security Solutions Award for Security Monitoring?
Cobb County Police Department set out to build a Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) that would enhance situational awareness, improve public safety response, and foster collaboration with neighboring law enforcement agencies. The goal was to create a centralized command center capable of aggregating critical data sources and enabling real-time video monitoring to support decision-making during high-pressure situations.
The design and implementation process spanned over a year and a half and required close coordination with vendors, public safety partners, and emergency management agencies. The RTCC needed to support a scalable, flexible physical layout with workstations for analysts, a raised platform for incident command, and a high-performance video wall solution to serve as the visual hub of operations.
Haivision was selected due to its strong reputation in mission-critical environments and its compatibility with the county’s existing infrastructure. The Haivision video wall and associated technology provided an intuitive, real-time display of multiple sources, including local news networks, Flock license plate readers (LPRs) and Fusus.
With the ability to pin alerts and display static images of wanted or stolen vehicles, the RTCC enhanced visibility for all teams in the room.
The RTCC was also designed with interoperability in mind. By creating a regional hub, Cobb County enabled resource sharing and intelligence collaboration across six law enforcement agencies. This approach not only optimized technology investment but also allowed departments to overcome staffing limitations by leveraging non-sworn analysts and decentralized access through Fusus.
Additionally, the center prioritized transparency and community engagement through educational tours and demonstrations, helping to build public trust in how technology supports modern policing.
The result was a fully integrated RTCC powered by Haivision’s video wall solution that delivered on key goals: improving officer safety with live body and dash camera streams, minimizing unnecessary dispatches, accelerating investigations, and fostering a new model for regional collaboration and precision policing.
“Haivision has been a great partner, providing us with an intuitive solution that maximizes our potential, safeguarding our community and officers, which is especially crucial amid staffing shortages,” says Captain Darin Hull.
The Story Behind the Award
Haivision Command 360 is a complete video wall solution designed to deliver real-time situational awareness and operational agility in mission-critical environments. Built on purpose-built hardware and software, Command 360 enables public safety teams, defense agencies and enterprises to securely visualize and respond to live events and emergencies with speed and precision.
Its scalable architecture supports dynamic content display, centralized management, and seamless integration with third-party systems.
For Cobb County Police Department, the goal was to build a Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) that would enhance visibility, accelerate decision-making, and enable interagency collaboration. To achieve this, the RTCC needed a video wall solution that could unify multiple data streams from license plate readers and surveillance feeds to incident alerts and news coverage into one cohesive operational view.
Haivision Command 360 addressed these specific needs by providing a robust, centralized platform for visualizing and managing live video and data feeds across the RTCC. The system powers a dynamic video wall that allows analysts and commanding officers to instantly access and prioritize key content.
With configurable layouts and intuitive control, Command 360 enabled the team to display live streams from Flock license plate readers (LPRs), Fusus alerts and other mission-critical sources, giving all personnel a common operating picture.
During high-pressure events, commanding officers can quickly enter the RTCC and gain a full view of active situations without disrupting workflow. The solution’s flexibility supports rapid reconfiguration based on evolving operational requirements, which is essential for real-time policing.
Haivision Command 360 also played a critical role in enabling regional collaboration. By serving as the visual backbone of Cobb County’s RTCC, it supports resource and intelligence sharing across six agencies, setting a precedent for multi-jurisdictional cooperation. It also facilitates remote access to video intelligence through integration with decentralized platforms such as Fusus.
Haivision Command 360 empowers Cobb County to meet its goals of faster response times, improved officer safety, and greater public trust. It demonstrates how a powerful video wall solution can transform the way public safety teams manage live operations and deliver effective outcomes.
