Security Firm Accuses DJ Khaled of Skipping Out on 5-Figure Bill

The Def Jam South president allegedly owes Guardian Professional Security more than $16,000.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Guardian Professional Security is suing rapper DJ Khaled for failing to pay his five-figure bill for contracted security services he requested.

The security firm, which provides personal bodyguards, residential and commercial uniformed guards, claims the Def Jam South president contracted its services numerous times between February 2011 and this past July, E! Online reports.

In the lawsuit, filed in Broward County Circuit Court, Guardian Professional Security says DJ Khaled owes $16,417.11, and has yet to pay up. In fact, the firm claims that the rapper has refused to compensate the security company without any legal justification.
