INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has partnered with SecurityCEU.com to launch an enhanced training program in an effort to keep its membership updated on the latest advances in the integrated security, fire and life-safety market.
Through the partnership, CEDIA will increase its current training curriculum by more than 55 hours of online content, according to a press release. CEDIA represents 3,500 member companies worldwide and serves more than 22,000 industry professionals that manufacture, design and integrate goods and services for the connected home.
For more than a decade, SecurityCEU.com has provided licensing, compliance, certification and continuing education solutions to the security, fire and life-safety industry. The online portal boasts a vast catalog of online training covering industry topics such as IP networking, IP video, structured wiring and customer service.
The coursework serves as foundational training for professionals entering the converging worlds of security and home automation. Additional benefits include the ability for CEDIA members to gain and maintain industry licenses and certifications. All SecurityCEU.com courses are approved for CEUs at the national and state levels. SecurityCEU.com also offers a full compliance management system (CMS) that provides automation of the licensing process, as well as full metrics and measurement.

Courses can be purchased a la carte, but the most popular option is to purchase the library subscription. This provides members access to all the courses in the CEDIA catalog for one low price. The license provides for 12 months of access.
