SECURITYLINK FORGES PACT WITH SHARP TO MARKET CONSUMER ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS

SecurityLink and Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas, a United States-based division of a sales and marketing subsidiary of Sharp Corp. of Osaka, Japan, has announced the formation of an ongoing business alliance. The companies will develop, distribute and market consumer electronic products that are compatible with state-of-the-art electronic security applications, including remote viewing systems developed by Sharp. These remote viewing systems allow users to view their homes, business, or other locations on their PC over standard telephone lines. “SecurityLink is a leader in the fast-growing security industry and has a well-established network of sales branches, while Sharp has the technology, engineering and manufacturing muscle necessary for bringing new products to the marketplace,” says James P. Venable, vice president of marketing for Sharp.
