Published: January 5, 2010

SecurNet has officially changed its name to ADS Security after the Nashville-based electronic security firm acquired it in February 2008. The rebranding will complete SecurNet’s transition to its parent company’s brand.

“We are proud to be a part of the ADS family,” says Paul Dyson, prior owner of SecurNet and current vice president and general manager of ADS-Atlanta. “While the company name has changed, the names and faces customers have gotten to know over the years will remain the same, as well as the reliable service they have come to depend on.”

SecurNet customers will now have access to enhanced ADS services like wireless monitoring and mobile messaging alerts.

ADS serves more than 70,000 businesses, industrial facilities and residences throughout the southeastern United States. The company provides a full range of intrusion and fire alarms, as well as video surveillance and access control systems.
