Select Security Acquires West Branch Security Systems
Electronic security contractor Select Security has acquired the assets of Williamsport, Pa.-based West Branch Security Systems. The acquisition was completed March 6, shortly after Select Security’s acquisition of Hazleton-based SecurityNet LLC.
Select Security has obtained the entire base of West Branch’s residential and commercial customers and continues to strengthen its presence in the Central Pennsylvania region.
West Branch Security Systems, a Dynamark franchise, was started in 1985, and served Lycoming and seven surrounding counties. Owners Charles and Nancy Stearns sold their accounts to Protection One in 1999, allowing Mike Drawbaugh to form West Branch Security Systems.
Michael Drawbaugh, president of West Branch Security Systems, will continue working with Select Security as the central region manager. The Williamsport office will remain the permanent location for installation, sales and service.
“Combining our resources with those of a recognized leader in the security industry will significantly increase our product offerings and greatly enhance our ability to serve our valued customers,” Drawbaugh says.
