Select Security Completes 2 Deals to Acquire 1,000 Accounts

Electronic security contractor Select Security has purchased nearly 1,000 monitoring and service accounts from Lancaster, Pa.-based WACOR Electronic Systems Inc. and Media, Pa.-based Alarm Capital Alliance (ACA), increasing its presence in the Central Pennsylvania security alarm market.

Select Security finalized the account acquisitions with the two companies WACOR and ACA in late July and August, respectively. Select Security will monitor the acquired accounts from its CSAA 5-Diamond Certified Central Monitoring Station.

“Select Security is excited to complete these acquisitions that will provide density within our footprint. We look forward to finalizing several additional acquisitions by year’s end,” says Select Security President Patrick Egan.

WACOR was established as a turnkey electronic systems integrator and has a branch office in Altoona, Pa. ACA is an independently-owned company that has relationships with alarm companies in 15 states.
